
Neto
Favaron
was
born and lives on Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is a
brazilian and italian citizen, and speaks english and
portuguese.
After
graduating in Marketing, he worked for a while in
advertising agencies, but soon started his first
audiovisual business: Mesa de
Luz, where he worked with photography, CGI and
animation.
In 2000 he created and produced the first brazilian
animated series, "Amazon Warriors" for Globo.Com.
In 2008
started Fazer
Cinema, a business initially focused on camera and
acessories rentals, but soon producing films for various
clients.
Neto then
started to work as a director of photography, with the
diferential of a profound knowledge of the digital
cinema tech, from cameras to post-production.

With
this deep grasp of the craft, and a talent for transmitting it,
he became a columnist for brazilian FilmMaker magazine, regularly
writing the "Film Technique" section. Neto
Favaron works as DP and
Steadicam operator in music videos, commercials, shorts and
features, as well as live concerts and politcal campaigns, all
work you can check on this site. In
those works, we must highlight the music videos "Amor
de Chocolate" for Naldo with more than 40 million views
on Youtube and "Seria Tão Fácil", with Tânia
Mara e Brian McKnight, the celebrating film for Globosat´s
20 Years all shot on steadicam, and the feature films "Tubarões
de Copacabana" directed by Rosario Boyer and "O Perfume da
Memória", an Oswaldo Montenegro film. Em
2016 Neto is entering a new professional realm, with the
launching of a cinema course on direction of photography 100%
practical, from shooting to grading, in order to transmit his
knowledge to a new generation of filmmakers that will conjure
the images to entertain and charm us all, today and forever!
